    A team testing device activations needs identifiers with a valid format for its test environments, without using those of real devices.

  2. 02Problem and previous workflow

    Test IMEIs were typed by hand or recycled from earlier cases. A miscalculated check digit made the upload fail and forced the work to be redone.

  3. 03What was built

    A web tool that generates the requested amount —or maps them to a list of phone numbers—, calculates the check digit and returns them ready to copy in one go.
